SEO Friendly CMS

The problems faced by Corporate Businesses in their quest for high natural search profile are immense, the lack of functionality in content management systems for SEO is usually terminal for search profile.

At best most corporate websites will get some profile from their homepage due to the link popularity alone but the rest of the website will be invisible in natural search.

There are very few truly search engine friendly CMS’s in the market, there are many more though who will peddle their content management systems as being search engine friendly when the truth is they are terrible.

In addition to this even when there is some functionality for SEO within a system most corporate IT departments do fully understand the methodology behind search engine optimisation and so even these systems then fail to deliver.

SEO and CMS Design

The most acute problems are usually encountered when a company has had a new system designed which when scrutinised does not deliver on an SEO friendly platform. The problem here is twofold, firstly the system was likely to be expensive therefore it cannot just be superseded and secondly the company responsible for the CMS structure will in many cases want another large investment to improve the system to a level where it can deliver to a search engine friendly standard.

The result is either a very stressful realisation that the new site is going to cost a lot more money due to CMS improvement costs or the corporate will avoid the investment, get panned in natural search and choose PPC as the only way to drive search engine traffic into their site.
