When High Position first partnered with Procoal Villas the Internet was still evolving in the UK, since then the Internet, the businesses using it and the people searching it has evolved to the point where it is part of everyday life.

Procoal as a client have been in the portfolio of High Position for many years and as a company have grown to be a hugely successful business, much of the success is down to the profile they have enjoyed at the top of search. When the journey started Google was still emerging as a search engine and Alta Vista was one of the most popular facilities and drivers of large volumes of traffic.

As time went by Procoal became more and more successful as increasing numbers of people used the Internet to source their property and holiday opportunities, the visitor levels went from hundreds to thousands and as Google rose in its popularity visitor levels became tens of thousands. The continued success of the work applied by High Position has enabled Procoal Villas to harvest ever more enquiries from their search profile and ensured that the Google updates of Florida and Big Daddy passed without so much as a ripple.

It is this stability over a prolonged period of time which distinguishes what High Position have achieved and shows that along with the natural business growth that good marketing and management can drive a solid natural search profile will also help to expand sales and revenue. Of course the intervening years have been tough at times, the ever changing landscape that is search offers new challenges every month, updates and changes to the algorithm are frequent and so are updates and changes to websites. Working closely with the web development team has enabled High Position to advise on every change and every website redesign.

The stability of their profile in search has ensured that Procoal maximize their sales process, in fact they have been positioned at page-1, position-1 for searches such as ‘New Villas’ for four years.

During this period High Position had not met the staff from Procoal as they are based in Spain and we in Essex and with both of us so busy with business development we worked through teleconferences and email. What a pleasure it was then recently when we met them at one of their prestigious developments in Spain and were treated to a lovely dinner.

In fact Procoal are coming to the Excel property exhibition in London later this year and so after not previously meeting face to face we will now of shared two dinners in two months. Our time in Spain was a great break for us though and the property that Procoal develop is truly luxurious, everywhere we went we saw the highest standards of workmanship and customer care.

In fact the experience was so good that perhaps we may now have to think of an appropriate location for a Spain office for High Position, somewhere sunny and with a pool!
