If you've just shelled out an uncharacteristically exorbitant amount of money on a new HD TV then you will probably be mortified to here that the Japanese have already developed new technology that is set to replace it. Super High Vision offers a screen resolution that is 16 times greater than the existing HD screen. The new technology will require a screen size of at least 60 inches and developers have demonstrated vast 600 inch screens. This is a far cry from the average screen size of 12inches that existed in the 50s.
The only problem the new technology may face is the fact that it is so large. People that want to replace their current screen will have to find room for a 60 inch screen in their home. The developer has also admitted that if you are too close whilst watching the screen it may make you feel sick. More sickening is the news that the expensive HD screen that you got for Christmas will very soon be obsolete - such is the way of the technology.
