UK Companies Prepare For Cyber Monday

Christmas is fast approaching and there are now less than thirty days left before the big day for 2009. So if you haven’t started shopping for your Christmas presents yet you should get moving because Cyber Monday is fast approaching.
At this point there are probably quite a few people who are wondering what the heck Cyber Monday is. Well basically it is the busiest online shopping day of the year, which generally falls on the first Monday of December.
This year Cyber Monday will fall on Monday 30th November and with so much at stake it would be worthwhile making sure that all your advertisements are up to date and pointing at appropriate content.
At High Position our Pay Per Click team is always working at ways to improve the efficiency of the sponsored adverts, but over the last week or so we have made a special effort to make sure that all our customers adverts are updated with the latest keywords to ensure that we get the best Click Through Rate over this busy period.
Last year when the recession was at its peak Cyber Monday accounted for $846 million, which was up 15% from the year before, which I’m sure you will agree are staggering figures considering the overall shopping spend for the month of December was down by 3%.
Online retailers have been able to tempt consumers into making these purchases with a range of fantastic deals including free shipping or discounts of bulk sales. With sales for e-commerce companies about to soar through the roof, it stands to reason that the amount of hours worked by employees on Monday will fall exponentially as they search online for the perfect present.
Make sure you are ready for Cyber Monday with your Pay Per Click adverts before 30th November 2009 you only have two days remaining.
