Palm Treo Smart Phone

Over the past few months many new gadgets have been released that catches many people’s eyes. But something that has caught my eye is the new Palm Treo Smart Phone. This ingenious phone is not the smallest not the slimmest or the most appealing but it is by far the cleverest and it is sure to give the I phone more than a run for its money. It is very easy to use and you can even use your own simcard in it without switching. Another good little feature is that you do not require emptying your pocket for a new contract as you can keep your own contract you had with your other phone, and even pay as you go users do not have to switch.

This latest gadget phone has made the latest switch to an all round organiser as well as a phone. It has great features such as email, internet access and an mp3 player as well to play your favourite tunes. These are all very easy to use thanks to a full colour touch screen that has just the right feel to it.  You will be able to send messages and keep up to date on the web easily from the workplace to your home. Its other main feature is its camera and video capability as it has a 2x digital zoom and an integrated self portrait mirror to capture that perfect shot for all the posers out there. Its video capture ability is immense with a 352×288 pixel resolution enabling all the great moments that happen in your life are captured as they should be.

Although the Treo is not the smallest phone in the world but it does boast an elegant and sleek design that enables the phone to fit nicely into the palm of your hand and then can easily be accessed with the touch of your thumb. And because it can still fit nice and snug into your pocket allowing you to take your photos messaging and friends wherever you go in the world whether it is the shop or the countryside.

The Treo 680 also has the ability to have Bluetooth and infrared technology that allows easy swapping of photos and songs to and from your friends. It can also connect to a GPS system allowing you to have your own personal satnav phone so you can never get lost wherever you are. You can also hold a lot of pictures and songs with a 64MB memory the Treo smart phone can be upgraded to a whopping 2GB of memory with the help of a memory card slot inserted into the phone.

Its QWERTY keyboard just like a computer allows you to type easily messages and websites, allowing you to even get the longest text message out of the way in no time.  Because the smart phone uses internet capability it supports word documents as well as PDF files and Excel documents. This allows the average businessman to have every tool at his finger tip to keep up to date with all the information whether he be an accountant or a solicitor.
One of the best features i like is the ability to become its own modem.

This allows you to take your laptop anywhere and not have to worry about the lack of an internet connection. This is because the phone uses a dial up networking system that triggers it to be a wireless modem allowing your laptop to connect to the internet anywhere. This means you can be on the train or in bed, as long as you have the phone the laptop has a direct internet connection.
