Google Analytics Apps Gallery Launches

Google Analytics has just announced a new apps gallery, an aggregation of tools designed by developers and Google Certified Partners to compliment Google Analytics and help users experience a more interactive service.
The new Google Analytics App Gallery presently contains 39 applications separated into 12 sections such as Business Intelligence, Mobile Solutions, Site Audit and Phone Call Tracking, and is growing.
Apps include the Analyticator for WordPress which, as the name suggests, implements Google Analytics across entire WordPress sites, and Analytics Visualisations, which lets publishers see which websites are linking to their site, and which of this content is the most beneficial, and the keyword visualisation part of the app displays keywords that are most searched-for, and how they are used together.
Phone Call Tracking Apps such as CallTrackID allows businesses to track phone calls which have arrived from different routes such as organic traffic, direct and PPC; an extremely useful tool for business who do not experience a transactional occurrence on-site, but for whom a telephone call is the conversion.
Apps which enhance Analytics, although relatively new, have been created by developers long before the Apps Gallery launch this week, yet this Google Gallery offers the convenience of being able to browse for apps all in one location. These apps will help enhance an Analytics user’s experience and allow them to interact with metrics and data on a level they favour, whether they are a marketer, an analyst or an IT team.
There is also a scheduled improvement and expansion of Google AdWords reporting in Analytics. These expansions will be available in Analytics accounts in the coming weeks, and expect to see changes such as the ability to segment traffic by search query, distribution network, match type and other AdWords categories.
