Blackberry's Challenge To iPhone Hoping To Go Down A Storm!

Friday, den 21. November 2008

Since its launch in June 2007 the Apple iPhone has enjoyed unprecedented success, due largely to the lack of competition in the internet connected Smartphone market. There have been attempts to challenge this dominance before; Sony Ericsson, Motorola and recently Samsung with their ‘Omnia’ phone but these have all seemed like copies of the original iPhone idea. While the phones offered all the functions that the iPhone did they failed to include any new technology, there seemed little point in switching from the iPhone, or even considering anything else, as there was nothing new on offer. Well all that is about to change.

Online Spending Experiencing Growth

Thursday, den 13. November 2008

As the recession bites an emerging trend has become apparent in terms of consumer spending. Recent research has found that currently seventeen pence of every pound spent in the UK now goes to online businesses. This is excellent news for High Position who specialise in providing top level rankings for online businesses all over the country and beyond.

In terms of an actual figure, the latest survey suggests that in the first half of this year, consumers spent over twenty five million pounds online; startlingly this figure is a thirty eight percent increase on the figure for 2007. Commercial experts are surmising that consumers in the current economic climate are seemingly less inclined to head out to malls and high streets for spending sprees and are far more likely to stay home and make considered purchases online.
